DMAIC Approach
Define - define project goals, boundaries, and identify issues that must be addressed to achieve an improved Sigma level
Measure - gather and analyze data in order to establish a baseline on current process performance and identify problem areas
Analyze - identify root causes of problems and verify those causes of problems using appropriate data analysis tools
Improve - develop solutions to address the root causes of problems identified during the analysis phases
Control - evaluate, monitor, and ensure effectiveness of solutions implemented during the improvement phase

Tournament Demo With Sensei Kim and Sensei Bloss
Sensei Kim performs a kata at the Mid-West Shotokan Karate Championship, then Sensei Bloss and Daniel Bobier take on Sensei Kim in a must see wild "slug-fest" that was highlighted on numerous television news networks.
Sensei Kim was killed while performing his police duties as a Cincinnati Police Officer in July 2015. He touched thousands of lives through his dojo and police service, for which he will forever be remembered.
Ippon Tournament Highlights
Traditional karate kumite (fighting) matches exhibit controlled techniques to target area that would typically render an opponent in tremendous pain or incapacitated if the technique were to be fully executed. Only light hand pads are allowed in adult matches since controlled techniques are required. There are two half points (waza-ari) awarded to win a match. The work Ippon is translated to mean full-point or winner.
